DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
frogfire DIGITAL, Inc., a Web technologies and new media design firm, is currently seeking a LAN Support Technician to assist the frogfire DIGITAL, Inc. efforts.
frogfire is looking for people to provide primary interface with vendor support service groups. Provides internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance. The ideal candidate is fast and agile with extensive knowledge of PC/LAN communications hardware and software in a multi-protocol environment, and of network management software.
Work with creative professionals to leverage new technology into cutting-edge new media projects in an exciting , entrepreneurial environment. Have a burning desire to monitor and respond to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems. This individual must have working knowledge of a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.
May function as lead job providing guidance and training for less experienced technicians.
Ability to learn new technology is incredibly important as is past production experience. We're looking for a proven self-motivator.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF APPLICANT:
· BS in Computer Sciences from an accredited college or university
· 6 years of technical troubleshooting experience
